Lendlease are looking for contractors interested in working with them for the St. John’s development project in Manchester.
Project Overview
Lendlease have been appointed by Developer Allied London to develop the masterplan for the whole St. John’s Quarter scheme and to begin construction of the circa £300m+ of Commercial, Residential, Hotel buildings planned for the site. With a mix of medium and high-rise Commercial and Residential blocks varying from 9 – 36 storeys.
The demolition and site clearance completed in 2018, with Piling for the double-storey basement beginning in January this year. With clients and funding already in place, the main construction activity will begin summer 2019 on what is anticipated to be a 4yrs+ project.
An M&E framework has already been established, with Briggs&Forrester, SES, NGBailey and HESimm all involved.
